Can I make a reservation?

Yes, you may reserve a table at our restaurant or by phoning 01698 253313. We do not accept reservations via Facebook or any other social media sites as they are not monitored. Please note that we do not take same-day bookings during weekends, however, we welcome walk-ins!

I am running late, how long is my table held for?

If you have reserved a table with us, we will hold your table for up to 15 minutes before your arrival. We will try our best to arrange an alternative table if you arrive after the 15 minutes limit.

Can I book for larger groups?

Yes. For further enquiries, please ask a member of the staff about bookings and private rooms (subject to availability).

How many people do your karaoke rooms fit?

Room 1 (small room) seats groups between 10-16 people.
Room 2 (large room) seats groups up to 40 people.
Rooms are subject to availability.

Do I need to pay a deposit for my reservation and how do I pay it?

For bookings more than 10 people we may require a non-refundable deposit of £5 per head (£10 per head for weekend bookings).
For karaoke bookings, there is a minimum deposit of £50 for Monday-Thursday bookings, and minimum of £10 per head for Friday- Sunday bookings.
You may pay the deposit at our restaurant or via phone no later than 48 hours before your booking time.

How long will I need to wait for a table during the weekend?

Weekends are the busiest days for us at Hup Lee. You may be expected to wait for a longer period of time, between 5 minutes to over 1 hour. Please be understanding that we are trying our best to arrange a table for you as quick as we can.

Is there a limit to how much food I can eat?

Our buffet is ‘All You Can Eat’ but please be mindful of food wastage. To minimise food wastage, we recommend that you do not overfill your plates and maintain reasonably sized portions. We suggest 3-4 dishes per visit at the buffet station. After all, you can visit the buffet station as many times as you like!

Is the food in the restaurant Halal?

Although we are not officially certified, we do buy our meats from Halal suppliers.

Can I see a menu?

Some of our dishes change regularly throughout the day and every week, therefore, we do not provide a full food menu. Our drinks list are available here and here.

Does your restaurant have disabled access?

Yes, our restaurant has disabled access. Please inform a member of staff in advance so that we can arrange a suitable table.

Is there a limit for each sitting?

During busy periods and weekends, sittings may be restricted to 90 minutes.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

We sell £10 and £20 gift vouchers. These can be purchased at the restaurant. Gift vouchers are valid for 3 months from date of purchase.

What if I am allergic to certain ingredients or have food intolerances?

Food prepared in our kitchen use all allergen ingredients, therefore allergen traces may be present in the dishes. We advise you ask a staff member if you are unsure about food content.

Are there vegetarian options available?

Yes, we have vegetarian dishes available. Our chefs may be able to take vegetarian dish requests.

Do you have gluten-free dishes?

As with many Asian dishes, soy sauce is used generously. Unfortunately, the soy sauce we use are not gluten-free, and we do not provide gluten-free soy sauce. Most of our battered dishes use non-gluten free flour. If you would like to know which dishes are gluten-free please ask a member of the team and they would be happy to let you know which dishes are suitable.

Is the chocolate fountain available all day?

The chocolate fountain is available for customers dining during dinner service (after 5pm).

Do you have high chairs for babies?

Yes, we have high chairs available. Please ask a member of staff if you require a high chair for your infant.

My child does not eat much, do I need to pay full price?

There is a small charge for infants under 3 years old (£3 lunch and £6 dinner) provided that your child will be eating with you from the buffet.

I will be accompanying my friends but will not be eating. Will I still be charged?

Please let a staff member know if you are only accompanying friends or relatives and you do not intend to eat at the buffet.

Do you have parking available at your premises?

We have a car park at the rear of our restaurant.
